Pedro Piquet underwent x-ray and tomography exams, which revealed that the driver didn’t suffer any fractures. The driver will stay in the hospital until next Monday (21st of September) under medical observation.
Pedro Piquet was removed from the track by ambulance after rolling over multiple times on the first lap of the Porsche GT3 Cup race, held this morning at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia.
The competitor left the track conscious and was transfered to HUGO (Hospital de Urgências de Goiânia), under supervision of Dino Altmann, the medical director of Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Brasil.
“Pedro underwent tomography, x-ray exams and didn’t suffer any fractures. He will stay under surveillance until monday, when he’s expected to be released”, said the medic.
